Regionaal Archief Alkmaar

The Regionaal Archief Alkmaar holds records of past and current civic administrations and associated agencies of nine municipalities in North Kennemerland, western West Friesland and the Kop van Noord-Holland, and a number of predecessors of the waterboard Hoogheemraadschap Hollands Noorderkwartier. The Regionaal Archief also keeps archives of non-governmental organizations as well as personal (i.e. of local families) records and archives. There is a library, a topographic-historical image-collection and a small audiovisual collection.
